Indie is dead. Long live indie.
This is how Patrick Derocher news editor for theramonline.com starts off his article to discuss not the collapse but the rise of indie music. In his long winded article he explains that indie artists have come a long way with the world wide web, from selling out concerts, to topping the charts.
Could this be true? Is indie the new mainstream? If so, in my opinion, it’s about time. Here’s to Talent, technology and of course the Internet.
